Sup dudes, the name's Vinny Fazio! I was born and raised in Las Vegas and moved out to Baltimore for college where I first got into the EDM scene. I started off as a hype man for a number of local artists where I found my love for the mic and the stage. After about a year, I decided to leave school and go back to Vegas to learn more about how to DJ and get comfortable on the decks. In Las Vegas, I played at the local clubs and hookah bars for a couple of years until I decided to take it to Los Angeles and really begin to follow my dreams. In LA, I met some amazing artists that assisted me in the climb, inspiring me to create a name and see what I can truly do with my talents and passion. I got to DJ, hype, and perform at some unforgettable venues, and after a couple of successful years of learning and practicing, I returned to my family's hometown: Chicago. Here, in four quick years, I've played more, bigger, and better gigs then i have in my entire career. From playing at festivals as big as Spring Awakening and North Coast Music Festival, to underground shows; From being direct support for Afroman and Twista, to b2bs with my g00ns, I’ve found that I’m a mixed genre DJ. That, no matter where the show is, Goonba can mold to the crowd and give everyone the best experience! Diversity is one thing i hold in high-regard, so I love expressing that in music and my performances! I've been playing a lot of dubstep and riddim at live shows since I came to Chicago, but I love how diverse I can be in one genre. I've found that with riddim and dubstep you can do almost ANYTHING as long as it sounds good! I’ve also been playing a lot of hybrid trap and the many genres of house music, which is basically where I started mixing. I love jumping all over when I get the opportunity, though. From DnB to Liquid Bass, hard-style to hip-hop, I can perform in any atmosphere with any type of energy!
